Bring yours to Block.</p> <h4><strong>The Role</strong></h4> <p>Block's Compliance Issues Management Oversight (CIMO) program is the centralized function responsible for end-to-end governance of compliance-impacting issues across Square, Cash App, and Afterpay. CIMO provides independent oversight of the full compliance issue lifecycle, from scope determination and root cause analysis through remediation execution, validation, and closure, to ensure clear accountability, consistent processes, and audit-ready documentation across the organization.</p> <p>This role sits on the Regulatory Compliance Strategy (RCS) team and reports to the RCS Lead. As the CIMO Lead, you will own the operational backbone of this program — driving remediation tracking, change governance, escalation, reporting, quality assurance, and stakeholder advisory for a portfolio of compliance issues spanning financial crimes and consumer protection. You'll serve as the single centralized point of accountability ensuring that Compliance issues are governed to consistent standards, remediation stays on track, and the program operates with the rigor that regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders expect.
